my opinion is TV adds because i think that if you can visually see things your interest would be drawn to it. The only downfall i see to this is the new TIVO that I personally use to fast forward through commercials so i miss them all.
Still i think it's better than radio because i never listen to the raido

Well, I have to say that I listen to the radio every day all day at work and while I'm driving. When I do watch TV I also use my DVR and never watch the commercials so although I agree that TV is much better for visual stimulus I think radio would be more cost affective. I think that a small number of ads on TV during primetime for those people who have to watch their favorite shows at the time they are on would be ok and then regular ads on the radio during the day would be the best.

okay so say we did radio then what stations? The radio stations actually said since were non profit they would give 1 free add for every one we paid for. they are all 60 second adds by the way.

I listen to 89.5 fm ktsy, I think it would be a great station to advertise on because it's such a family oriented station.

Ammon, I think you should check with Treasure Valley Family Magazine (tell her I sent you). Most Mom's pick it up for the calendar of events each month. I think that would give you a good return. I should mention... I do not make any $$ if you call her. I used to do a freelance art column for her. Teresa

Hi! I was just thinking that maybe you could also consider a MySpace account or Facebook account for the aquarium. They are fast and free. When you sign-up you can opt to send out an announcement to all MySpace, or to all people in your location (Idaho) for example. There are TONS of people on there, including local Radio stations like Magic 93.1 and Mix 106.

Hey Ammon, Lisa Hines here. Yes, I'm still around, lol, waiting for orders. I did a myspace search, but didn't see anything on there yet. Do you need help setting that up? I am an official myspace mentor for "Soldier's Angels", so I am on there almost daily. Let me know.
