The design and the exhibits of the aquarium are not set in stone yet, so if anyone would like to give suggestions, that would be great.
For those that attended the meeting on the 5th, know that we have a design we are building off of. So it is important to perfect this design or make any changes now while the architect works on it before it is final. Thanks

I did not go to the meeting... so I dont know if this has already been talked about. At The Oregon Coast Aquarium they have a great set-up to watch the otters. Are you familiar with it? Above ground area to watch feedings, then two differnt windows below. Also... the jelly fish tank is very cool. It is like a giant glass tube thru the middle of the room. I have pictures of each if interested...

The Amazon rising exhibit at the John G. Shedd Aquarium is sweet, Huge but sweet, what about something like that? here is a link www.sheddaquarium.org/amazonrising.html Exhibits focused on an ecosystem. I also love the jellies exhibit at the Monterey Bay aquarium how it blends Art and the exhibits. It is very unique and so cool.

I would really enjoy an under water walk through. Something like they have at Seaworld. A tunnel that runs under the water inside of the shark exhibit. That way people get the feeling of being surrounded by the sea life. It enables viewers to see the bellies and sides of sharks up close.
