 Season passes
« Thread Started on Feb 14, 2008, 4:12pm »

For all who are interested to know the most season passes we have sold in one day is 13. We soon realized that we sell more season passes when we send out a "batch" of emails. We gather email addresses for a few days then send them out 1,000 to 2,000 at a time. The same day a few hours after they go out we have a spike in season passes sold which equals about 5 passes to every 1000 emails extra from the normal sales from what we can tell.

Yesterday we tied the most season passes sold in one day by 13 again missing the record by :24 min. we sold one at 12:24 am and another at 2am. we are going to pass this record soon which just proves the fact that the community is willing to support the aquarium.

If for some reason the Boise Aquarium is not built, do people get their money back they spent to buy a membership?

We are building the building. We have secured private funding for it so we wont have to build based upon the amount of donated funds we receive.

On another subject we have a new goal of 48 season passes in one day and 90 for the week. We would have to do another event to beat this though.

This is the reason so many who would want to purchase season passes dont... no firm answer to the question. If people heard a firm YES YOU WILL GET YOUR MONEY BACK many more would be buying those passes. A friend of mine was volunteering and couldnt get an answer to this for me. Can you give us a firm YES?

Is it really going to happen?? I thought they had funding and don't need to rely on season passes to get this built. I would love a season pass once we see where it will be built. It has almost been 10 months. I thought the announcement was going to happen in April or May?? Whats the new news
Can't wait to see it happen. I will cross my fingers
